Hyderabad: Madhapur police claimed to have arrested three notorious habitual chain-snatchers on Friday and seized 15 tulas of gold, two bikes and four cell phones, all worth Rs 10 lakh, according to Madhapur DCP A Venkateshwar Rao on Friday. The accused were identified as Sohail Khan (19), Mohammed Amer (20) and Mohammed Jawed (25).

They were arrested and produced before the court. The accused were school dropouts and later started working as labourers in a company engaged in house shifting service. They resorted to crime to make a fast buck. They started stealing motor bikes and robberies like chain-snatching, the police said.
