Three varsities get EC members. State government started the process of appointing members to the Executive Councils (ECs) to universities.

Hyderabad: State government started the process of appointing members to the Executive Councils (ECs) to universities. Members were appointed to ECs to three varsities- Mahatma Gandhi (Nalgonda), Dravida (Kuppam) and Palamuru (Mahbubnagar).

The appointment of members is purely political in nature and the feud between the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Damodar Raja Narasimha, over the names has blocked the matter all these years.
Palamuru University: Dr G Manoja, Principal, PG College; Ravindranath Reddy, Principal, Government Degree College (W), Mahabubnagar; Dr Pindi Pavan Kumar, Associate Professor, Department of Micro-Biology, Dr D S R Rajendra Singh, Dr Saibaba Goud, Chairman, Devnath Foundation for the Blind; P Srinivasa Rao, Secretary, Adarsh Group of Institutions, Dr Samuel, Superintendent, Government District Hospital and Dr J Rameshwar Rao, Chairman, My Home Construction,
Dravida university : Prof. N Karakaratnam, Prof. P Chenna Reddy, Archaeology Department of Telugu varsity and Prof. Bethavolu Ramabrahmam, Professor of Telugu, University of Hyderabad.
Nalgonda varsity: Dr K Anji Reddy, Principal, University College, Gajala Yasmin, Dr A Ravi, Dr G Yadagiri, Dr Baburao, retired professor of civil engineering, Osmania University, Dr S Ananda Reddy, CH Venugopal Reddy, Bharat Institutions, Hyderabad and Dr T V Narayana, former member , APPSC, were appointed.
