Gitam students bag TCS gold medals. Gitam University engineering students Kambhampati Divya Tejaswani and Kaushal Kumar Shukla received gold medals from Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for their academic excellence.
Visakhapatnam: Gitam University engineering students Kambhampati Divya Tejaswani and Kaushal Kumar Shukla received gold medals from Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for their academic excellence.
TCS Vice-President V Rajanna presented the awards to Gitam students with gold medal and Rs 10, 000 cash prize each at a function held recently at Hyderabad and said that TCS was presenting these awards to students who are studying high-ranking engineering institutes across India particularly to encourage students to focus on academics through healthy competition.
Gitam University computer science engineering department student Kaushal Kumar Shukla submitted a project which is helpful to physically handicapped persons while using computer. His project ‘Cursor control Using Face Tracking’ received appreciations from TCS and treated as socially useful project.
