Over a decade ago Dr B Pardha Saradhi Reddy, Chairman, M V Krishna Reddy, Secretary & Correspondent had a vision and mission of providing excellent environment with world class facilities for all round development of students to develop erudite professionals in all streams of engineering, management courses to impressively build reputation in academic circles by providing outstanding professionals for a rewarding career ahead. The resultant of this vision has culminated in the inception of Sai Spurthi Institute of Technology, affiliated to JNTUH, Hyderabad, an ISO 9001:2008 certified institution accredited by prestigious NAAC with ‘B’ grade and located in B Gangaram Village, Sathupally in of Telangana, 80 KM from Khammam and 110 KM away from Vijayawada.

Built in 27 acres of land, the very look gives the aspiring students a feeling of warmth, pride and confidence. The state of the art buildings with good interiors and modern amenities give a peaceful ambience to the students and staff to carry on their work with ease. Pollution free atmosphere, noise less environment helps the students to concentrate on their studies. Our campus is a stunning natural beauty.

Mentoring Team

At Sai Spurthi teaching is more than making students to learn. It is a thinking exercise. Ably headed by Principal Dr Ch Vijaya Kumar and committed HODs and all teaching staff are well versed in their profession to take their teaching more as a passion rather than a duty. With dedicated counselling and personality development cell, which is not common in many educational institutes, the institute is able to monitor the progress of students carefully.

Library

Sai Spurthi library is an ocean of knowledge. Around 22,800 volumes and number of national and international journal are available for reference. The yearly subscription by the college to DELNET, IEEE Journals enables the students to go online for studies. The library and digital library is open from 8 am to 8 pm including Sunday.

English Language Laboratories

The department of English has English communication and advanced English communication laboratories, well equipped with computer systems, LCD projector, webcam and other essential software. These help students to practice and experiment in the language. Phonetics form a integral part of the laboratory, so that they can communicate in English well.

Computer & Internet Facilities

Computer laboratories are equipped with 700 systems for students of all branches. The labs are supported by 160 KVA generators for uninterrupted power supply, students can keep track with the latest trends of information technology. A dedicated high speed 40 mbps separate internet connection is available for students as well as staff to have access to global knowledge base.

To develop employability skills the college has exclusive training and placement cell. Students are trained in soft skills with the emphasis on communication skills in an interactive manner. Above 200 students secured jobs in campus placements for the academic year 2013-14 in various organisations.
