Preparations are complete for the Joint Entrance Examination (Main)-2015 being conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Saturday in Warangal. The JEE is conducted for admissions in undergraduate engineering programmes offered by NITs, IIITs, other centrally funded technical institutions and institutions funded by participating state governments for the students of intermediate/equivalent qualifying courses.

Warangal: Preparations are complete for the Joint Entrance Examination (Main)-2015 being conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Saturday in Warangal. The JEE is conducted for admissions in undergraduate engineering programmes offered by NITs, IIITs, other centrally funded technical institutions and institutions funded by participating state governments for the students of intermediate/equivalent qualifying courses.

In tri-cities of Warangal-Hanamkonda-Kazipet, a total of 16 centres have been set-up for conducting the test. A total of 12, 143 students are expected to appear. For the Paper-I (B. E/B. Tech) 9,551 students would appear for Paper-II (B.Arch/B.Planning) 2,592 students. The test for Paper-I would be conducted from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm and for the Paper-II examination would be conducted from 2 pm to 5 pm, informed the local incharge Gopu Mathyas Reddy.

Speaking to pmedia persons here on Friday, he advised the students to arrive at the test centres half-an-hour before the scheduled time. The students would not be allowed to take the test if they arrive late by even a minute.Carrying electronic gadgets like mobile phones, calculators and others are strictly prohibited, he added.

A total of 500 invigilators, 20 observers and four flying squads have been deputed to monitor the examination. The exam is conducted for the first time in newly formed Telangana State, at Hyderabad and Khammam. The district police made elaborate security arrangements for the test while the RTC officials have planned to operate additional bus services for the benefit of the students, appearing for the test.
