QS World University Rankings is a publication of university rankings, published annually by British company Quacquarelli Symonds (QS). According to QS, every university aims to have only one thing in common which is to be multidimensional. Its ranking by subject are where some of these dimensions can be more ably perceived – if the global rankings are a wide angle lens, the subject rankings are a rack of synchronous telephotos – and they reveal a far more richly detailed picture.

The ranking mechanism is considered by global overall as well as 36 subject-wise. QS World University Rankings is considered as one of the three most significant and closely monitored university evaluations, along with Academic Ranking of World Universities and Times Higher Education World University Rankings. This ranking process will be done for universities in 44 countries around the world. The major criteria for the ranking are academic reputation, employer reputation and research impact.
