Graveyards to have better amenities
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) is planning to provide basic amenities such as washrooms, toilets, seating arrangements and beautify graveyards by increasing the greenery. The GHMC is keen on developing two graveyards in each circle numbering 36 in all.

The Commissioner along with the zonal commissioner inspected the Punjagutta Hindu graveyard near Nagarjuna Circle, on Friday. The Commissioner directed officials to take up works as per the designs and complete the work in 100 days.
Beautification work in other graveyards would be taken up in other graveyards in a phased manner. The Commissioner directed officials to take up immediate repairs to the existing electrical crematorium which is in very bad condition on priority.
