The maximum temperature rose at one or two places in Rayalaseema and changed slightly at most places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh. It was above normal at one or two places in coastal AP and Rayalaseema.

RISE IN DAY TEMPERATURES

Hyderabad: Anantapur recorded the highest maximum temperature of 39 degrees Celsius on Saturday as several places in Andhra Pradesh turned hot because of the summer. The maximum temperature rose at one or two places in Rayalaseema and changed slightly at most places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh. It was above normal at one or two places in coastal AP and Rayalaseema.

In Telangana, the maximum temperature changed slightly at most places. It was below normal at one or two places across the State. The highest maximum temperature of 38 degrees Celsius was recorded in Mahabubnagar and Bhadrachalam.The maximum temperatures recorded in AP were: Bapatla 33, Kakinada 34, Kalingapatnam 34, Kavali 33, Machilipatnam 33, Nandigama 36, Narsapur 33, Nellore 34, Ongole 33, Jangamaheswarapuram 35, Tuni 36, Vijayawada 36, Visakhapatnam 32, Arogyavaram 34, Kurnool 38, Nandyal 38 and Tirupati 37. In Telangana: Adilabad 33, Hakimpet 33, Hanmakonda 37, Hyderabad 35, Medak 35, Nalgonda 35, Nizamabad 37 and Ramagundam 35.
