Decisiveness, dynamism & development
The BJP is the only alternative before the people of this country and certainly they would bring the BJP or its alliance NDA to power in the next general elections, Venkaiah Naidu confidently said. He said that during the nine years regime of UPA the people have witnessed scandals like 2G Scam, Common Wealth Games scam, Coal Scam and price rise of essential commodities, sky-rocketing inflation, increase of suicides by farmers, violence against women, terrorist activities across the nation, decline of rupee value, fall of growth rate, failure in providing employment to youth, indecisiveness and fall of prestige of our country at global level. The Congress is suffering from 'Modi phobia', he said. The three 'D's - Decisiveness, Dynamism and Development - are synonyms for Modi, he said. Hence the Congress was intentionally creating hurdles to Modi using the CBI as its trump card to nail him in 'Ishrat Jahan' encounter case, he said. Deploring the Congress stand on Telangana, Venkaiah Naidu said that its uncertainty over Telangana issue took more than 900 lives. Along with Telangana state, there should be special package to Rayalaseema to develop the backward areas and a concrete and specific time-bound plan to eliminate the regional feeling among masses, he said. Venkaiah Naidu said that there should be social justice and classification of SCs, separate budget for BCs and representation to BCs in legislature and statutory bodies. The UPA had become Non-Performing Alliance, he said. Pakistan a 'rogue nation', says Venkaiah Tirupati: BJP former national president M Venkaiah Naidu describing Pakistan as 'rogue nation', said that Pakistan was behind many terror strikes not only in India but in many countries. He was the chief guest of a seminar organised by Tirupati unit of Prajna Bharathi here on Tuesday in the Senate Hall of Sri Venkateswara University. In the key note address he said that the soft stand of India while dealing with the intrusion by China in Terai region created confusion among masses. He lamented that India still remained at cross roads when it comes to the foreign policy. Addressing an impressive gathering of the members of the teaching faculty, research scholars and students he said that the country was currently undergoing a tough phase on all fronts. The land of Bharat in the ancient times was the seat of high learning through its legendary Nalanda and Taxasila universities. The BJP leader, a former student of SV University, recalled his association with the varsity and region. The SVU Vice-Chancellor Prof. W. Rajendra, Rector Prof MAK Sukumar and others spoke.
