Ola, the SoftBank-backed taxi-hailing service in India, has launched a food ordering and delivery service in selected Indian cities.

" Ola Cafe," which works on the same lines as Uber Fresh, a lunch service started by Ola's rival Uber in the U.S., will initially be available in selected parts of Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi and Mumbai, reported Tech Crunch.
Customers can place their orders inside the app between midday and 11pm and their food will be delivered within 20 minutes, the company said.
The announcement, which came almost a year after the launch of Uber Fresh in August last year, may prompt Uber to start exploring its own possibilities in India, which is its largest overseas market.
