Babu Mohan quits TDP
Babu Mohan Quits TDP. Noted actor and TDP leader Babu Mohan has quit the party. Announcing this at a press conference at Jogipeta on Sunday, he spoke about the humiliation that he was subjected to in the TDP in recent times. At one time, he broke down during his interaction with the media persons. He said he had joined the TDP following a call by the late NTR.
Sangareddy: Noted actor and TDP leader Babu Mohan has quit the party. Announcing this at a press conference at Jogipeta on Sunday, he spoke about the humiliation that he was subjected to in the TDP in recent times. At one time, he broke down during his interaction with the media persons. He said he had joined the TDP following a call by the late NTR.
He alleged that some of the party workers had colluded with Damodar Raja Narsimha during the 2009 elections when he contested from Andol constituency. TDP leader Madanmohan Rao, who is keen on contesting from Zaheerabad Parliamentary constituency, was encouraging those who had conspired to defeat him in 2009, he alleged.
Babu Mohan said he had worked untiringly for the party and also sold his property to contest the elections, but did not ask anything in return from Chandrababu Naidu. Though the TDP president promised him an MLC seat and to send him to the Rajya Sabha, he did not keep these promises, he said.
