Thorrur (Warangal): Jana Sena party president Pawan Kalyan has made caustic remarks against TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao here on Saturday. He cautioned the TRS chief against criticising Bharatiya Janata Party’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi. “He would have to taste my wrath right in the centre of Warangal,” the Jana Sena president stated.

“I can tolerate if KCR hits out at me, but I won’t accept the TRS leader castigating Modi, the future Prime Minister and BC leader,” he said. Chandrasekhar Rao lacked respect towards BCs and Dalits and he backtracked on his promise of making a Dalit Chief Minister, he said.

Pawan Kalyan was here on Saturday to canvass for TDP nominee for Palakurthy Assembly seat, Errabelli Dayakar Rao, and addressed a well-attended public meeting. He was given a warm welcome by the crowds who cheered him for every statement he made.

The Jana Sena leader claimed that he had love and affection for Telangana and raised emotional ‘Jai Telangana’ slogans. Before the start of the address, he paid tributes to the Telangana martyrs. “The separate Telangana has become a reality because of the sacrifices by hundreds of youth and students but not because of the TRS chief,” he pointed out.

“How could a party with just two MPs achieve statehood?” he sought know. The formation of Telangana was not possible without the support of the BJP. The party would come to power at the Centre with Modi as Prime Minister and only that party could ensure all-round development of Telanagana, he said. “KCR should understand that by his censuring Modi he can’t develop the State,” Pawan Kalyan noted. “A good leader should not provoke people on the basis of regional sentiments. KCR’s son was educated in Andhra while party leader T Harish Rao has got business dealings with Seemandhra Congress leader Botcha Satyanarayana,” the Jana Sena leader alleged. He further alleged that the TRS workers had ‘pillaged’ his eight-acre mango orchard and even beaten his pets. “If I revolt, none can stop me,” he warned.

TDP leader Dayakar Rao, BJP Warangal Lok Sabha nominee Dr R Parameshwar, Mahajana Socialist Party leader Manda Krishna Madiga and others were present.
