Rajagopal favoured that the new Seemandhra government should change the name of the State as Telugu Nadu, withdrawing Andhra Pradesh. He would give a representation to the new governments, that would be formed both in the State and at the Center, to change the name. When asked about his future and return to active politics, the former MP said that he had quit the active politics, but would continue to work for the unity of Telugu people. He did not believe in ‘rebirth’, but would leave his political rebirth to the future.
