Gurajala (Guntur): Telugu Desam Party founder NT Rama Rao’s widow Lakshmi Parvati called upon the people to teach a fitting lesson to the party chief, N Chandrababu Naidu, who launched Atmagaurava Yatra in Guntur on Sunday. Addressing a meeting here, she said: “My son-in-law submitted letter to the Centre for the creation of Telangana State. Not once. But twice. Now, he embarked on a self-respect tour. Who will believe him? I wonder how he gathered courage to show his face to people already hurt by his approval letter for Telangana. My son-in-law deserves people’s wrath for whatever injustice he did to them.”
Lakshmi Parvati said that it was Babu who favoured Telangana on his own and now changed his stance. He was trying to gain sympathy going by the wave of protests in Seemandhra region after announcement of Telangana State. If he had any concern for self-respect of Telugu people, he would not have submitted letter of approval for Telangana two times in the first place, Lakshmi Parvati roared.
