The civic body proposed 13 new multi-skill training centres, which would come up in all the five zones. Apart from imparting vocational training, these centres would also be linked with major industries, to aid in placements. A variety of courses would be offered at these centres. A budget of Rs 1.27 crore has been set aside for development of infrastructure.
S Aleem Basha, zonal commissioner (west zone), BV Gangadhar Reddy, deputy commissioner, Kukatpally circle and senior officials from the west zone were a part of the inspection team.
Multi-skill training centre would come at RIL Colony, RIL Colony, JSN Colony, AMPRO Colony, Champapet, Hafeezbaba Nagar, Rooplal Bazar, Navajyothi Youth Club, Gunfoundry, Amberpet, Hafeezpet, Moosapet, Safilguda, Patny and Mohammadiguda.
