International honour for city dentist
Dr A Sridhar Reddy, chairman of Sridhar International Dental Hospitals, received the Best Dentist Award for 2014 from the international dental magazine Famdent.
Vijayawada: Dr A Sridhar Reddy, chairman of Sridhar International Dental Hospitals, received the Best Dentist Award for 2014 from the international dental magazine Famdent. He has received the award at a function held in Mumbai on Sunday. The award was presented by Maharashtra Health University Vice-Chancellor Arun Jamkar, in recognition of his services to the society.
Addressing newsmen on Monday, Dr Sridhar said that he bagged award for the second consecutive year. “The hospital also won the Best Clinic Award for the second consecutive year,” he added.
A jury comprising 20 leading dentists selected Dr Sridhar for the award from 600 nominations received from across the country. The free dental camps organised by the hospital, in association with various NGOs, for the benefit of poor and its other service activities were taken into consideration for the award.
