Students kickstart Sankranti festivities

The women empowerment cell of PB Siddhartha College of Arts and Science organised ‘Sankranti Sambaralu’ at the college promises on Saturday. ‘Bommala Koluvu’ was arranged to mark the occasion. The celebrations included Haridasu keerthanas and ‘Gangireddu’ feats. A rangoli competition and a fashion show were also organised for the students. The students were dressed in traditional attires. College principal MVN Padma Rao, women empowerment cell convener V Rukmini, teaching and non-teaching staff also participated in the event.
