A two-day seminar on ‘Green Methodologies for Sustainable Future’ (GMSF-2015) will be organised by the chemistry department of Koneru Lakshmaiah University at its campus at Vaddeswaram beginning on Friday.
Seminar convener KRS Prasad on Wednesday said that the seminar aimed to promote development of green chemical technologies to protect the environment from the hazards of pollution. “It will focus on the latest developments in nano science, biosensors, immune sensors, organic synthesis, metal complexes and other relevant subjects,” he said.
Sri Krishnadevaraya University former vice-chancellor P Ramachandra Naidu, CV Ramana and T Nitin Patel of CSIR National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, DB Ramachary of University of Hyderabad, DK Mohapatra of CSIR, Hyderabad, and MV Basaveswara Rao of Krishna University would participate in the two-day seminar.
