Curtains down on 3-day film fest.The finale of the three-day film festival, Gran Kinos 2015, organised by visual communication and animation design departments of Andhra Loyola College, was a grand affair.
The finale of the three-day film festival, Gran Kinos 2015, organised by visual communication and animation design departments of Andhra Loyola College, was a grand affair. A string of special performances by students marked the concluding day of the film festival on Friday.Short films and videos received for the festival were screened on the third day.
It was followed by a technical session conducted by choreographer-turned-director G Ashok. Ashok narrated his experiences from the beginning of his career to the time he made it big in the film industry with Nani starrer ‘Pilla Zamindar’ and Aadi starrer ‘Sukumarudu’. Photographer Rajesh Mindi also interacted with students during the technical session.
Budding artiste K Havish, who starred in ‘Ramleela’, made an appearance in a fashion show organised as part of the festival, which enthralled the gathering. Later, prizes were given away to the winners in the short film, Public Service Announcement and documentary categories. Students and delegates released sky lanterns to mark the successful end of festival.
