The English Language Users and Literature Admirers Association (ELULAA) observed World Book Day on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion, Prof. K Ram Chandra, president of ELULAA, said, “Youth should develop the habit of reading to expand their knowledge.

In the era of information explosion, one should not only read widely but also wisely as the authenticity of information is a matter of conjecture.

Youth should emulate the legendary Shakespeare and the iconic Cervantes in whose honour April 23 is observed as World Book Day. General reading broadens the intellectual horizons of students and it helps them understand their academic subjects better.”
