Industries minister Jupally Krishna Rao supervised arrangements at the HICC, Novotel, ahead of the launch of Telangana State Industrial Policy at the venue. The policy will be launched tomorrow by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.Aravind Kumar, secretary, industries and energy; Manicka Raj, commissioner, industries; E Narsimha Reddy, VC&MD, TSIIC and other senior officers took part in the review meeting.

The event has a stage arranged to seat more than 100 VVIPs. The hall will be abuzz with head honchos from across the globe. Confirmations have been received from US, Iran, Dubai, Canada, Bahrain, Algeria, Canada etc. 100+ top group chairmans, CEOs of the industries across the country and heads of Maharatna, Navratna companies, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and 1000+ industrialists have confirmed their participation.

MPs, MLAs, secretaries, collectors, police officials and heads of all line departments are attending the event. Six huge screens are being set up inside the venue. The minister highlighted the advantages of Telangana viz climate, good infrastructure, skilled human resources, investor regulatory mechanism, incentive policies, hassle free and graft free system.


He added that the event is expected to draw the attention of big investors across the globe and lead to plethora of investments to Telangana State.
