The convocation of 95 Degree Engineering Course and the 23 Technical Entry Scheme Course (B Tech Programme) was conducted at the Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering (MCEME) on Friday. Governor ESL Narasimhan conferred degrees and awards to engineering graduates of the Indian Army which was witnessed by 400 plus gathering.

The convocation of 95 Degree Engineering Course and the 23 Technical Entry Scheme Course (B Tech Programme) was conducted at the Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering (MCEME) on Friday. Governor ESL Narasimhan conferred degrees and awards to engineering graduates of the Indian Army which was witnessed by 400 plus gathering.


A total of 17 officers of 95 Degree Engineering Course and 24 officers of 23 Technical Entry Scheme Course were awarded Bachelor of Technology Degree from the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi during the convocation ceremony. DGEME Trophy for Best All Round Student officer of the DE-95 course was awarded to Capt Rangarajan G, GOC-in-C ARTRAC Trophy for Best All Round Student officer of the TES-23 Course was awarded to Lt Vishal Singh,

DGEME Gold Medal was awarded to two students---Capt Rishabh Garg for being first in the Order of Merit in academics in the Electronics and Mechanical streams of DE-95 Course and Lt Vishal Singh for being first in the Order of Merit in academics in the Electronics and Mechanical streams of TES-23 Course.


Comdt’s Silver Medal was awarded to Capt Nitish Kumar Singh for being second in the Order of Merit in academic in Electronics stream, Capt Saleha Haque for being first in the Order of Merit in Mechanical streams of DE-95 Course, Lt Aditya Singh Dhadwal for being First in the Order of Merit in Mechanical stream and to Lt Hitesh Ahuja for being second in the Order of Merit in Electronics streams of TES-23 Course.

The graduating officers have to design and fabricate projects that meet the requirements of the Field Army, as well as demonstrate their knowledge in futuristic technologies as part of their training curriculum. IR Based Control System project was adjudged best in DE-95 Course, whereas RIFD Based Door Access Control project was adjudged best in the TES -23 Course.
