Koona asks Talasani to face by-poll
The Telugu Desam Party in-charge of Sanathnagar constituency Koona Venkatesh Goud on Saturday called upon Telangana Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav to get ready for the by-election. In a statement after visiting the NTR Ghat, here on Saturday, Goud accused Srinivas Yadav of lacking courage to face the by-election even though six months have lapsed since he defected from the TDP to the pink party.

He advised Talasani to persuade Assembly Speaker Madusudhana Chary to accept his resignation and face the by-poll. The TDP leader stated that the power being enjoyed by Talasani was thanks to the party’s support. He explained that the Sanathnagar seat was allotted to Yadav in accordance with the party high command’s decision.
Goud alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was resorting to political conspiracies against the TDP leaders, as he was afraid of facing the ensuing GHMC elections. He claimed that people were fond of TDP founded by NTR and they would teach a fitting lesson to the TRS party as KCR was resorting to ‘undemocratic’ actions. Goud exuded confidence that the TDP would emerge victorious in the GHMC elections.
The TDP leader wanted KCR to honour his commitment of completing all pending projects. He said the TS government should release a white paper on the pending projects and organise an all-party meeting on the issue.
