P Sudhakar, chairman and managing director, ECIL, distributed school bags and water bottles to the students of Zilla Parishad High School, Kapra, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). P Sudhakar expressed confidence that the students will make use of the facilities provided and will effectively compete with students from private schools.

He assured help from ECIL to the extent possible and said that the ogranisation would also provide R.O. Water System facility for the students in the adopted schools. ECIL adopted 17 government schools and constructed classrooms, halls, computer labs, toilet blocks and supplied dual desks and benches in the schools. Until Financial Year 2015, the company spent an amount of Rs 2.35 crore and for the current fiscal, ECIL has planned project to the tune of Rs1.70 crore.
