Seminar on sports from July 3
The Department of Physical Education of PB Siddhartha College of Arts and Science would be organising a national seminar on ‘Personality Development through Sports’ at its auditorium on July 3 and 4. College principal MVN Padma Rao on Saturday informed that Krishna University in-charge Vice-Chancellor D Suryachandra Rao would inaugurate the University Grants Commission (UGC) - sponsored seminar on sports.

The seminar would cover an array of topics like fitness and lifestyle management, psychological training, sports and socialisation, health and well-being, sports injuries - rehab, yoga for fitness and wellness, psychological aspects - women and sports, role of information technology in sports, sports management and sponsorship and science of sports training.
College physical education director N Srinivasa Rao said that Prof P Chinnappa Reddy, former director of physical education and Advisor to Government of Andhra Pradesh, would address the students. Prof Vasanthi from University of Mumbai, Prof Sebastian from Coimbatore, Yoga exponent Aruna and others would also speak at the two-day seminar.
