Governor ESL Narsimhan will inaugurate the four-day 2nd Indo-Global Healthcare and Pharma summits and expos at Marigold Hotel on Thursday. The events are being jointly organised by the Federation of Telangana and AP Chambers of Commerce & Industry, the OMICS International, Indus Foundation, under the aegis of the Telangana State government and Pharmaceutical Export Promotion Council of India.

Governor ESL Narsimhan will inaugurate the four-day 2nd Indo-Global Healthcare and Pharma summits and expos at Marigold Hotel on Thursday. The events are being jointly organised by the Federation of Telangana and AP Chambers of Commerce & Industry, the OMICS International, Indus Foundation, under the aegis of the Telangana State government and Pharmaceutical Export Promotion Council of India.


It will be attended by around 4,000 experts drawn from 15 countries, including Europe. Announcing the schedule on Saturday, Dr Srinubabu Gedela, MD, OMICS Intl USA, said, “Hyderabad is fast emerging as health and pharma capital of India. The ensuing event will serve as a global platform to the pharma and healthcare industry, including the practitioners, as it will review the progress made in the industry specifically in relation to dreadful diseases.


The need to accelerate and promote the development and delivery of new health techniques to fight against emerging disease will form the main agenda of the inter-active sessions.” Eminent radiologist, Dr Kakarla Subba Rao lamented that India was very low in terms of government spending on health care sector.


He also pointed out that the country had a dearth of at least 20 lakh nurses, which was terrible shortfall despite having the best infrastructure. Health Minister Dr C Laxma Reddy, IT Minister K T Rama Rao, will also grace the occasion.
