This year the organisers are expecting a turnout of over 15,000 participants, which includes participants from around the world. Speaking at the launch, KTR said, “I really loved the marathon last year when I ran with my family. Even though I had not finished the run last year, I wish to finish at least the 3km run this time.
It is events like these that increase the states social capital and set a benchmark for the state and this is the one reason I welcome such events with open arms.” “In this edition, we have focused on significantly increasing the runners’ safety and amenities, course entertainment and volunteers, as well as the overall experience.
We are confident of enhancing Brand Hyderabad and acknowledge the support from all our partners to organise this annual sporting spectacle that promotes active and healthy lifestyle,” race director Dr Murali Nannapaneni said.
