ALIET holds meet on IBM Bluemix

The Department of Information Technology (IT) of Andhra Loyola Institute of Engineering and Technology (ALIET) organised a technical seminar on ‘IBM Bluemix’ on Thursday.

Speaking at the seminar, Head of IT Department S Kishore Babu said, “Bluemix is IBM’s next generation open standards Cloud-based platform for building, managing and running apps of all types, including web, mobile, big data and new smart devices.

Bluemix, which requires a little in-house technical know-how, is cost-effective.” The HoD exhorted students to stay abreast of the pre-built dynamic models that are available in Bluemix to develop applications rapidly using instant services and application program interface (API).

ALIET director Fr Francies Xavier, principal O Mahesh, IT Department assistant professors V Vidya Sagar, N Mrinalini and other faculty members were also present.
