Green drive by techies

Software employees as part of Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association (HYSEA), in association with Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC) organised a plantation drive at Hitec City. L Karthikeya, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Madhapur, flagged off the event by planting a sapling himself.

Volunteers from more than 20 companies including Invesco, Deloitte Consulting India, Konylabs IT Services, TATA Consultancy Services, Capgemini India, Cognizant Technologies Solutions India, HSBC-Electronic Data Processing India, Wells Fargo India Solutions, planted more than 2,300 saplings. C Vinod Kumar, zonal manager, TSIIC, said, “We are happy that the whole initiative compliments the Haritha Haram programme.”
