An expert committee comprising professors and faculty of Veterinary College, Rajendranager, Hyderabad, experts from Veterinary Biological Research Institute (VBRI), Shanthi nagar,
senior scientist from LaCONES, Attapur and retired zoo veterinarians met at the Nehru Zoological Park on Wednesday.
The management took suggestions regarding prophylactic measures, preventive measures, contagious diseases particularly in carnivores and herbivores and took suggestions from the experts for better management practices of wild animals.
The meeting was led by Dr G Chandrashekar Reddy, CCF/CF, Wildlife Management Circle, Hyderabad and convened by the Nehru Zoological Park curator.
