Enjoying the perfect Hyderabadi combo of Irani chai and Osmania biscuits, art lovers of the city had a fun time at the painting exhibition themed ‘Royale Hyderabad Heritage and Culture’ at Must Art Gallery in Secunderabad.

The expo, which aims to highlight the lost glory of city’s heritage, is being presented by fashion promoter Ahmed Khan along with artist, Kishore Singh. The paintings on display of Osmania General Hospital, Bathukamma art, Charminar, Golconda Fort, Qutubshahi Tombs and other royal monuments as well as the street life of Hyderabad are in water colour.

Spekaing about the expo, Ahmed Khan, said, “This is my love for the Hyderabad culture, traditions and royalty era. It’s the third season with yet another unique art show. We got a huge response in the past years. This year, we are presenting the “Apna Hyderabad”; its heritage and traditions of Ganga Jamuna Tehzeeb with the help of artist Kishore Singh.”

Kishore Singh is a renowned artist of international fame with 18 years of experience in traditional art and gaming world and a signature style in watercolours of Indian cities. The expo, which will be on until October 25, was inaugurated by music director RP Patnaik along with film director Teja, art director Yumuna Kishore, Gabriel from US Consulate public affairs officer.
