The Managing Director and CEO of Metropolis Healthcare Ltd, Ameera Shah has added two more prestigious honors to her long list of awards and achievements. She has bagged the coveted ‘Corporate Champion Award’ at recently held conference presided over by US Ambassador to India, Richard Verma. The conference was attended by many prestigious individuals from India Inc. Shah also won the 'Women Leadership Award in Healthcare' at the CMO Asia Awards 2015, again a coveted industry platform.
Shah was presented with the awards in recognition of her outstanding contribution in the field of healthcare and diagnostics. She has been instrumental in shaping Metropolis Healthcare as one of the fastest growing multinational chain of diagnostic labs in the emerging markets.
“Both these awards recognise and appreciate women power and work, celebrating their successes and showcasing their excellence in their respective fields,” Shah told.

Besides this, Forbes Asia had listed Shah in the Asia’s Most Powerful Women 2015 for powering the rise of Metropolis Healthcare and brining a significant shift in the diagnostics industry. She is one among the only 12 Indian Women to be featured in this globally acclaimed list.
Shah has also been featured in the acclaimed ‘Young Global Leader’ list brought out by the prestigious ‘World Economic Forum’ in 2015. She has been honored with ‘Exemplary Women Leadership award’ at the World Women Leadership and Congress awards 2014. She has been chosen as one of the Most Respected Leaders Under 40 years by Economic Times & Spencer Stuart (2014).
