The two-day ‘State-Level Throwball Tournament’ for girls and boys under-19 age will commence at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation Stadium from today.

The two-day ‘State-Level Throwball Tournament’ for girls and boys under-19 age will commence at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation Stadium from today. Speaking about the tournament, AP Throwball Association State secretary E Sulochana said “A total of 13 teams have confirmed their participation. Central legislator Bonda Umamaheswara Rao and the officials from the Indian Throwball Association will attend the tourney and extend necessary technical support for the event.
At least 300 players, including those who excelled at the national level, would participate in the tournament. Winners will represent at the National-Level Throwball Tournament which will be held at Hyderabad from April 28. Two courts have been developed at the IGMC stadium in accordance with the standards prescribed by the All India Throwball Association.”
