The Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India’s (CREDAI) mega Property Show concluded at the HITEX in Madhapur on Monday. The three-day event had the city reeling with more than 70,000 visitors responding enthusiastically over the weekend.

At the valedictory function, the Mayor, Bonthu Ram Mohan said, “A master plan shall be put in place in three months. There has been imbalanced development so far and the government is focusing on balanced development on all sides of the city.”

He mentioned that there is no proper drainage and sewage system in the city and it requires Rs 250-300 crores to improve it. “Government is planning to clean up the Musi River and develop areas around it. It is also working towards improving road infrastructure and use new technologies for more sustainability of roads,” he said.

NVS Reddy, IRS, Managing Director, Hyderabad Metro Rail and Purushotham, Executive Director, TSRTC spoke about the traffic problems and how to relieve the traffic congestion.

Speaking about the Property Show Kacham Rajeshwar, Coordinator said, “Hyderabad has the best cosmopolitan yet warm and welcoming culture, moderate climate and lies in a non sesmic zone making it an ideal destination to settle down. Hyderabad has seen an increase in leasing of properties by the corporates over the last few years.

The enthusiasm from developers was evident from the quick booking of the stalls at the property show and we are extremely delighted with the response to the CREDAI property show 2016.”
