Literacy kits distributed to children and adults
As part of the celebrations for ‘World Literacy Day’, the Inner Wheel Club (IWC) of Secunderabad and Rotary Hyderabad Midtown (RHM) encouraged children to ‘go back to school’.
As part of the celebrations for ‘World Literacy Day’, the Inner Wheel Club (IWC) of Secunderabad and Rotary Hyderabad Midtown (RHM) encouraged children to ‘go back to school’.
Noted actor Sumant along with members of IWC and RHM distributed sports items, books for library, shoes, socks and notebooks to the children of Government Primary School in MG Nagar.
In addition, adult literacy kits were distributed to the parents of the children and people staying in the basti. Teachers were honoured by Sumant with the ‘Nation Builder Awards Certificate’ for their commitment to educate children in these government schools.
Seema Kumar, President of RHM also extended support towards adult education, e-learning and dental check up for the children in association with Partha Dentals.
