Generation-old casters in Dhulpet and Nampally are in the process of solidifying clay idols for Lakshmi pooja. The sale of sweets, firecrackers, diays and lanterns has begun in iconic locations, such as Begum Bazar in the Old City and General Bazar in Secunderabad.
