A training programme was held here on Wednesday on the conduct of Group-II examinations for the officials, who had been appointed to supervise examination scheduled on November 11 and 13.

Mancherial: The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) member D Krishna Reddy suggested the district administration to conduct the Group-II examination transparently in the district.

Krishna Reddy, who attended the programme, said “This is the first Group-II examination, which is going to be held in Telangana State after its formation.

The examinations must be conducted transparently without any scope for irregularities. The officials who are appointed must be committed for the smooth conduction of examination.”

40 centres were allotted to Mancherial district and the district administration must take necessary steps for providing all the basic facilities to the candidates, who appear for the examination like drinking water, toilets, and uninterrupted power supply.

Special buses also should be arranged for the candidates coming from distant places, he suggested to the district officials.

He also said the police officials must control the auto drivers, who charge more from the candidates during the examination time along with arranging tight security at the examination centres.

The TSPSC member advised the students to come to the examination hall one hour before along with their hall tickets, anyone of their original identity card like Aadhaar card, driving license, voter card, bank pass book and pan cards etc.

The District Collector, R V Karnan suggested the candidates appearing for the examination not to believe rumors. Since there was a chance of copying using advanced and developed technology, the supervisors along with other officials must be alert observing every nook and corner of the examination hall carefully.

Mobiles must not be allowed into the examination hall and if any charts regarding the subjects concerned are seen on the walls of the examination hall must remove immediately. Necessary guidelines must be given to candidates not to commit any mistakes in filling the OMR sheet.

DCP John Wesley, the district coordinator Swarna Latha, Joint Collector J Sudhakar Rao, DRO Ayesha Masrath Qasim, Bellampally RDO Pandu Ranga Rao and the chief Superintendent of examination were present along with others.
