Mass exodus to TRS from Congress, TDP
A large number of leaders from Congress and Telugu Desam Party within the Bellampalli Revenue Division limits of the district have decided to jump into the ruling TRS party.
Mancheriyal: A large number of leaders from Congress and Telugu Desam Party within the Bellampalli Revenue Division limits of the district have decided to jump into the ruling TRS party.
The leaders who defected into the TRS include former Zilla Parishad Chairman Purushottam Goud, mandal TDP president president Dattu Murthyand others.
They joined the Telangana Rashtra Party in the presence of Minister for Forests and Environment Jogu Ramanna and district TRS president Puranam Satish.
Speaking on the occasion, MLC Satish Kumar said that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and the Congress leaders have done nothing for the development of the Telangana region while they were in power in the undivided State and the people of Telangana State have rejected them outright.
As a result, many Congress and TDP leaders were showing interest in joining the TRS which was fulfilling the aspirations of the people of Telangana, he added.
He said that former MLC Premsagar was behaving like a dictator in the Adilabad district doing nothing for its development.
