Warangal girl excels at Balotsav-2016
A classic dancer from Warangal, Neeli Akshara, excelled in ‘Balotsav-2016’ held at Kothagudem town, the district headquarters of Bhadradri Kothagudem.
Warangal: A classic dancer from Warangal, Neeli Akshara, excelled in ‘Balotsav-2016’ held at Kothagudem town, the district headquarters of Bhadradri Kothagudem.
She won 1st prize in Kuchipudi dance and 2nd place in Bharata Natyam in sub-juniors level. She received the prizes from IT and Municipal Administration Minister K Taraka Rama Rao during valedictory of the event recently.
The Minister, Mahabubabad MP A Seetaram Naik and Khammam MP P Srinivas Reddy, Khammam ZP chairperson G Kavitha, Kothagudem MLA J Venkat Rao and others have congratulated Akshara for her performance.
Akshara, studying fourth standard, is learning classical dance forms of Kuchipudi and Bharata Natyam for the past three years at Shivananda Natya Kala Nilayam under the tutorship of master B Sudheer Rao. She also won several prizes in the past in many competitions.
