Adilabad: Minister for Environment and Forests Jogu Ramanna said that the TRS government was taking all possible steps to improve the quality of education imparted in government schools to make them on par with the private corporate schools.

Government schools should be in no way inferior and in this connection, digital classes were introduced in schools, he added.

Inaugurating digital classes at the Jainadh mandal headquarters in the district on Wednesday, Ramanna urged the students to utilise the educational opportunities and chalk out a bright career for them.

He said that those who study in goverenmtn schools should come out in flying colours.

He said that 171 schools in the district were selected for introducing digital classes. He assured the students and teachers that the government would release funds for taking up the construction of compound walls for every school.

The Minister distributed text books on spoken English under the aegis the Jogu Educational Foundation. District In-charge Collector Krishna Reddy, DEO Lingaiah, ZPTC member Asha Rani and others were present.
