94 cr released for farm loan waiver
District Collector N Satyanarayana said that Rs 94 crore has been released for farmer’s loan waiver under the third phase.
Kamareddy: District Collector N Satyanarayana said that Rs 94 crore has been released for farmer’s loan waiver under the third phase.
Addressing a convergence meeting with district officers here on Monday, he directed the officers of the district Agricultural department to take steps and ensure that the loans sanctioned under the third phase should be credited into the accounts of the farmers immediately.
The District Collector said that with Rs 94 crore, 1,87, 520 farmers would be benefitted. He instructed the agricultural officials to ensure that there were no shortage of seeds and fertilizers for the farmers as the Rabi season has started.
He said that special awarenss camps should be organised in villages to enlighten the farmers on sowing crops.
He also told them to inpsecte the saplings that were planted under the Haritha Haram program every Saturday.
Collector4 Satyanarayana said that people in the villages should be persuaded to construct individual toilets. Open defecation should be prevent as afar as possible, he added.
Joint Collector Sattiah, DRO Nagesh Reddy and others were present.
