Khammam: Senior CPI leader Puvvada Nageshwar Rao accused the ruling parties in the country of deceiving country’s youth which might affect the future of the nation.Speaking at a district-level meeting of All India Youth Federation (AIYF) held at Giri Prasad Bhavan here on Wednesday, under the leadership of the Nanabala Ramakrishna, Puvvada said the ruling parties were miserably failing in providing self employment opportunities to the youth, who constitute more than 50 per cent of total population present in India.
Appreciating the participation of the AIYF in all the movements right from freedom fight to till date, Puvvada said the AIYF was the most active student organisation which inspired many other organisations to follow their footsteps in fighting for rights of the students and also weaker sections.“The credit of changing the behavior of the ruling parties to work for the welfare of people by organising several movements goes to AIYF only,” he said. He warned the students to be aware of the Modi's government which was encouraging the communalism in the country and in the universities by provoking attacks on the weaker sections of the society. He urged the students to fight back against the ideology of the BJP party.
“Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao came to the power promising the people of water, funds and employment opportunities. But leaving all those behind, he is now ruling like a monarch,” he criticised.He said, “There are no new recruitments in newly-formed Telangana till date. Instead, we are witnessing huge number of retirements.” He urged the students to motivate the youth to participate in the movements to fight against the governments which were adopting the anti-student policies in the State and in the country.
CPI district Secretary Bagam Hemanth Rao, AIYF State President Ramulu Yadav, district General Secretary Siddnineni Karna Kumar, A Mahesh, Md Gouse Pasha, Bukya Ravinder, K Sathish Reddy, M Koteshwar Rao, K Kanaka Raju, A Pavan, Ch Ramesh Chary and V Ramu were present along with others.
