Kamareddy: A seminar on medicinal plants and their significance was conducted for Life Science students at R K Degree and PG College here on Monday. Prof B Vidya Vardhini, Director, Directorate of Academic Audit, Telangana University was a resource person.

She said that Ayurvedic and Allopathic medicines depend on these plants. She advised the students to have knowledge on medicinal plants on which several research projects are going on. College representatives Srinivas Reddy, Gangadhar, Ravi, Sreedhar and others participated in the seminar.
