Ride for the ‘Republic’!

Over 2,000 bicycle riders participated in the eighth edition of ‘Republic Ride’ that began from Gachibowli Stadium on Thursday. The day also marked a milestone for organisers, Atlanta Foundation that has now registered more than one lakh riders across all the events they conducted so far.

About 50 corporate organisations participated along with Vijay Bhaskar from Cyient, the man famous for riding his bike from Kashmir to Kanyakumari in July last year.

“I use cycle as a medium to reach out to the masses to spread about importance clean and pollution free environment,” said the bike enthusiast after the event.

Certificates and medals were given away at the finishing line in Shakarpally to all participants.
