​Warangal: TSRTC Warangal region authorities have planned to operate 152 special buses connecting important temples of lord Siva, marking Maha Sivaratri festival.

The RTC Regional Manager, T Surya Kiran in a statement here on Wednesday informed that the special buses would be launched on February 24 for the benefit of the devotees attending jataras organised at Shiva temples in view of the festival.

The bus services would be operated till the festival jataras conclude.It is planned to operate 50 buses every day from Hanamkonda bus station to Vemulawada town and 30 buses to Kaleshwaram while 20 buses would be run between Thorrur and Palakurthy, besides five bus services between Hanamkonda and Palakurthy.

Similarly 20 special buses would be run between Jangaon and Komuravelli. Special services from Warangal and Bhupalpalli would be operated. Several services connecting Ramappa, Inavolu, Kotilingala and other places would also be run.

Based on the traffic of the devotees, the number of buses would be increased, Surya Kiran said while appealing the devotees to make use of the services.

Similarly special services from Hanamkonda to Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple in Yadagirigutta have been introduced on Sundays.

Every Sunday, four buses would start from Hanamkonda at 7 and 9 am and 3 and 5 pm and in return journey, they would start at Yadagirigutta at 9.30 and 11.30 am and 5.20 and 7.20 pm.

The fare for adults is Rs 84 while for children it is Rs 43 per head, Surya Kiran said.
