Two thieves held during Karimnagar cordon & search operation

Led by Police Commissioner V B Kamalasan Reddy nearly 150 members of police officials conducted Cordon and Search operations here at Shantinagar in the outskirts of Karimnagar city in the early hours on Wednesday and seiged 34 two wheelers and 13 autos which do not have proper documents along with liquor bottles and nabbed two thieves Ramtenki Raju and Bukya Bhaskar along with taking two suspected persons into custody.
Speaking on the occasion the Police Commissioner V B Kamalasan Reddy said that to transform the district into gutka, matka and gudumba free Cordon and Search operations are conducted and also to keep check on the illegal activities.
“Stringent actions will be taken on the persons involved in production of products that spoil the health of the people along with those persons who are involved in the production of illicit liquor like gudumba,” warned the Police Commissioner.
The Police Commissioner suggested the people to purchase the vehicle after checking the documents perfectly to prevent any untoward incidents later and also to keep an eye on those people are moving suspiciouly in their areas.
The Rural Assistant Superintendent of Police V Thirupathi, Inspectors and 150 members of police personnel participated in the Cordon and Search Operation.
