​Karimnagar: District Collector Sarfaraz Ahmed urged the parents to admit their children in government schools, during his visit to Zilla Parishad High School in Chintakunta village of Karimnagar district on Tuesday.

He visited the school as part of Prof Jayashankar Badi Bata programme. He enquired the students about their studies and asked them whether they are attending the school regularly or not.

Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that the government is providing free mid-day meals to the students studying in government schools along with free distribution of uniforms and books to students.

He urged the parents to admit their children in government schools and get the benefits along with getting standard education offered by best teaching faculties.

District Education Officer Rajiv, Chintakunta village sarpanch, School headmaster were present along with school staff and others.
