It is affecting people, mainly elders. It is one of the districts which is recording higher temperatures in the State. The officials concerned are advising the people not to come out during noon time.

They are advising the people to carry umbrella whenever they come out. It is affecting business mainly small vendors, daily wage workers and auto drivers.

People are buying cool pots and taking cool drinks to beat the heat. Municipal officers have not established water kiosks due to water shortage.

In all 50,000 people would visit the district headquarters daily. People are facing hardships due to lack of facilities.
