The ruling parties are deceiving the people with hollow promises that cannot be fulfilled,” alleged Communist Party of India (CPI) state joint secretary Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao.

Khammam: “The ruling parties are deceiving the people with hollow promises that cannot be fulfilled,” alleged Communist Party of India (CPI) state joint secretary Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao.

He attended the one-day workshop organised at Giri Prasad Bhavan here on Monday. Party leaders and the representatives of party related people’s organisations have participated in the workshop, organised by party district leader Yerra Babu.

Addressing the participants, Sambasiva Rao alleged that the Modi government, by encouraging communalism across the country, and Chandrashekar Rao government, by encouraging casteism in the State, are trying to create disputes among the people in the country and in the State.

By making a new promise every month, which cannot be fulfilled, the government was trying to deceive people. The promises made by KCR in the past - like KG to PG free education, three acres to dalits, one lakh jobs to unemployed youth – were not implemented till date.

And now the distribution of ‘Sheep Units’ to shepherd community was also not being implemented perfectly in many parts of the State, he criticised.

He alleged that the government had totally neglected the farming community in the State and investing huge amounts of public money in the name of projects. The people were observing every move of the government and will teach a fitting lesson in the coming days, he warned.

Party state leader T V Chowdhary explained about the ways to strengthen the CPI and its people’s organisations from village-level at the workshop.

Party district secretary Bagam Hemanth Rao explained to the party people on how to react to the Welfare schemes introduced by the State government.

Party district leader Anugu Venkateshwar Rao and others attended the workshop.
