While terming the allegations as ‘shameful’, Diwakar Rao asserted that the people knew, who were land grabbers. The MLA said his family members owned 57 acres in Survey No 324 in Mancherial. ‘It is baseless to say that the land belonged to the government and that they had sold it. It is painful to hear such baseless allegations,’ he lamented.
The MLA accused Premsagar Rao of land-grabbing in Hyderabad while staying there. A land-grabbing case was registered against the former MLC in Jaipur police station in 2015. ‘I have not seen such a cheap leader in my political life,’ Rao stated. He charged the former MLC with indulging in gambling in Hyderabad ruining many lives.
‘It is like devil quoting scriptures,’ the legislator stated. Diwakar Rao stated that he is ready for any punishment if proof of his land-grabbing was produced.
Along with his family members, Municipal Chairman Vasundhara, Child Development wing Organiser Athi Saroja, coal belt Sarpanches Rajendrapani, Rajesh and Krishnayya were present.
